MOTORISTS have been urged to use an alternative route following a crash on the A7.
The incident happened near the Scotland-England border, according to police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said it would likely be closed “for a period of time”.
They said: “The A7 is currently closed due to a road traffic collision opposite the March Bank Hotel near the border to Cumbria.
“The road is likely to be closed for a period of time. Please be patient & use an alternative route.”
