A 33-YEAR-OLD man involved in a bust-up with police at his Dickson Street home in Hawick has received a four-month prison sentence at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Aaron Moyle pleaded guilty to assaulting two female officers and a male constable during the incident on July 2 last year.
He also admitted shouting and swearing and uttering offensive and derogatory remarks.
Not guilty pleas to attempting to defeat the ends of justice by snatching a bag of drugs from a police officer and possessing ketamine were accepted by the Crown.
The court heard he had recently been sentenced to 30 months in jail at Oban Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Douglas Keir said the four-month sentence would run concurrently to Moyle's current sentence.
