FOLLOWING the latest "triumphant" production from Tweed Theatre two weeks ago, the drama group has revealed the winner of their raffle prize from North Link Ferries.
Earlier this month performers took to the Eastgate Theatre stage for Brassed Off.
And thanks to support from NorthLink Ferries, Tweed Theatre was able to offer a raffle prize of a return ferry trip to Orkney or Shetland for two people, to be taken before December 2025.
The prize also included the winner's vehicle and an onboard cabin on appropriate crossings.
The lucky winner of this "great prize" was Kathleen Alexander, of Peebles.
Ms Alexander was presented with her prize by Tweed Theatre secretary Jean Westwater and chair of the theatre company Paul Taylor.
A Tweed Theatre spokesperson said: "Kathleen is a seasoned traveller and plans to take advantage of her prize next spring.
"The money raised from the raffle went to the local brass band musicians’ organisations.
"The musicians were an integral part of the superb community effort involved in mounting four successful performances of Brassed Off."
