A MESSAGE has been issued to the public following a “spate of incidents” in Peebles.
Thefts, attempted thefts and vandalism were reported to police on Wednesday (June 5) and Thursday.
The four incidents took place on Biggiesknowe, Walkershaugh, Kingsmeadows Road and Marmion Road, according to officers.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are asking the public to be aware of home and vehicle security following a spate of incidents in Peebles.”
They added: “Prevention is a big part of policing, and the public has a vital role to play in this.
“Anyone who witnesses anything suspicious should contact us via 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
