THERE is “heavy traffic” on a Borders road after a two-vehicle crash.
The accident on the A72 near Blyth Bridge took place this morning, according to police.
Officers closed the road in both directions.
A spokesperson said the police were waiting on the recovery of vehicles, with the route set to reopen ‘soon’.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.15am on Monday (June 10) we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A72 near to Blyth Bridge.
“Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted."
