AN APPEAL has been launched after a sum of cash was stolen from a Borders hotel earlier this week.
Officers in the Borders are asking for anyone with information to come forward after £400 was stolen from the Buccleuch Arms Hotel in St Boswells between 11.30pm on Monday, June 24 and 6am on Tuesday, June 25.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Between 11.30pm, Monday 24th and 6am, Tuesday 25th of June the Buccleuch Arms Hotel, St Boswells was entered and £400 cash stolen.
"Any person who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious is asked to phone 101 quoting incident 1309 25th June."
