THERE were some great costumes on display in Peebles last week for the annual fancy dress parade through the town.

From popular characters such as Mario and Luigi to Barbie, there was an array of outfits on show!

As well as the best dressed local, the Beltane Committee also named the winners of the best dressed house, shop and garden as well as the annual horse races.

Our photographer Alan Wilson snapped some of the best costumes on display on Beltane Friday.
