A BORDERS leisure centre swimming pool has reopened after power issues were addressed.
Eyemouth Leisure Centre closed after contractors working in the area cut through cables.
Live Borders, which operates the facility on behalf of Scottish Borders Council, apologised for the inconvenience and said it was hopeful that power could be restored quickly.
And a spokesperson has confirmed that the pool has now reopened.
They said: "The swimming pool at Eyemouth Leisure is back open.
"Swimming lessons and tonight's pool activities will go ahead as normal.
"Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back."
The centre only reopened in early April.
The indoor swimming pool and gym next to the seafront had been closed for repairs to its heating and ventilation system, which are expected to slash its energy bills by a fifth, since November 20 last year.
