BORDERS pupils were among those impacted by a “technical issue” on exam results day.
Thousands across Scotland received an email with a blank space where their grades should have been.
The SQA said it had resolved the glitch that affected students using the MySQA service.
A spokesperson for Scottish Borders Council said: “We are aware of an issue earlier this morning with SQA results by email, which has affected some of our young people.
“We understand that most of these young people have made contact with their school, and the school staff who are in school today have been able to assist them.”
On the glitch, an SQA spokesperson said: “We have now resolved a technical issue that impacted candidates who signed up to receive their results by email only using the MySQA service.
“Texts were not impacted and the vast majority of learners who signed up to MySQA received their results as expected.
“We apologise for any concern caused to learners who experienced a delay before receiving their MySQA email with their results attached.”
