TWO spacious four-bedroom family homes would be formed if plans to convert an award-winning Innerleithen guest house get the green light.
A planning application has been submitted to Scottish Borders Council for the change of use of Caddon View Guest House in Pirn Road.
The existing two-storey property has eight bedrooms of which six are en-suite.
A report with the application states that by sub-dividing the property the aim is to “maintain the character of the existing building’s features”.
Caddon View Guest House has won Guest House of the Year, and Scottish Borders Guest House of the Year at the Scottish Hotel Awards.
It also picked up Scottish ‘Friendliest B&B of the Year’ at the AA Awards just before the pandemic hit.
