GALASHIELS is aiming to become known as one of the most dog-friendly destinations in the south of Scotland.
A new toolkit has been launched to help more local businesses in the region attract more visitors and their four-legged friends.
It has been created by the South of Scotland Destination Alliance and is being promoted on National Dog Day, which takes place today (Monday).
