AN appeal has been launched following a report of a 'wilful vehicle fire' in Galashiels.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Windyknowe Road.
The incident is said to have taken place between 12.30am and 1am on Sunday, August 25.
Police Scotland say it resulted in damage to a garage and a second vehicle.
They added there were no reports of injuries and the fire is being treated as "wilful".
Detective Constable Liam Myers, of Galashiels Police Station, said: “I’m appealing to anyone with information on what happened to get in touch with us.
“If you have doorbell cameras, private CCTV or a dashcam, please review your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
