AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a number of bikes were reported stolen in the Borders.
Police say they were taken sometime between 4.30pm on Sunday, August 25 and 8.25am on Monday, August 26 from a shipping container in Traquair.
The bikes are described as:
- A Red Honda motor bike, registration mark FH67 LGV
- Ibis Hakka Gravel Bike, multi green bar tape
- Scott Genius Bike, small size, gold Fox 38 forks, orange and purple headset spacers; and Deathgrips Wolftooth seat posts
- YT Capra Mountain Bike, black in colour, medium in size
Police also say five suspension forks were also stolen, along with ten mountain bike tyres.
PC Craig Turnbull said: “We are reviewing CCTV and carrying out door to door enquiries to establish who is responsible.
“We are keen to trace four people who were seen in the area, along with a white van.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0588 of August 26, 2024.”
