TWEEDDALE Area Partnership Flood Advisory sub group has reached a watershed moment in its year-long history.
Next Thursday at 7pm, the group will welcome officers from Scottish Borders Council’s resilience and flood advisory team, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and Scottish Water to Peebles Burgh Hall.
The meeting will allow the organisations to speak with members of communities affected by flooding in the River Tweed catchment.
All are welcome and will find out what the group has worked on in the past year since it was formed in August 2023.
Colin Kerr, who is the Tweeddale Flood Group chair and from Walkerburn, said: “If you are concerned about flooding please come along.
"We have already given questions to the relevant organisations and look forward to the answers."
