BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Selkirk man who admitted two assault charges at the town’s sheriff court.
Thirty-five-year-old Nicholas McGuire, of Bannerfield Drive, pleaded guilty to attempting to strike a paramedic on the body and then pushing a police officer on the body and spitting on him.
Sentence was deferred until September 30 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
