The Right Angle Theatre group return this winter to Galashiels Volunteer Hall with their annual pantomime production.
The group are returning after selling out a five night run of their production of Mother Goose last year.
Rehearsals are already under way for this year’s production of Hansel and Gretel, which will run for five nights.
The pantomime will open on Tuesday, December 3 and will run until Saturday, December 7.
Tickets will be available in late October/ early November and will be available from Fountain News (Market Street) and Noble’s Fish Shop (Bank Street). It is advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
The theatre company have performed the pantomime for over twenty eight years and this year have one the biggest casts with over fifty personnel.
The cast include some youngsters who come up through the company and are making their acting debuts.
This year’s production will be directed by Gordon Keddie assisted by Julie Smith, Dereck Calder will be the musical director and production by Sarah Phillips.
Stuart Mitchell will take on the role of choreographer and Jodie Millar and Amanda Blacklock will be charge of costuming the cast.
Alan Frayn returns to provide the script containing the usual pantomime slapstick and humour and the production team have selected a range of songs and music to compliment the script.
