PEEBLESSHIRE residents have until Friday, November 15 to put forward names for the Tweeddale Citizen of the Year Award 2024.
Since its introduction in 1991, the award recognises members of the local community who have gone the extra mile to benefit the area and played a significant part in community life.
Susan Walker accepted the 2023 award on behalf of all Tweed Togs volunteers, who help run the clothing bank for children.
Since opening in 2017, the charity has provided wardrobes of clothes for 1,768 children.
