A HAWICK man found in the company of his ex-partner who he was banned from having any contact with has received a five-month jail sentence at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Thirty-four-year-old Lee Johnstone pleaded guilty to breaching his bail conditions at a house in the Borders on January 23 last year.
Prosecutor India McLean said police received an anonymous call around 5pm to say Johnstone was at the woman’s uncle’s house and she was in attendance – which was a breach of the court order.
The court heard Johnstone is currently serving a prison sentence and is not due to be released until December 10.
Sheriff Peter Paterson imposed a prison sentence of five months custody which he said would not affect Johnstone’s release date.
