“The Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards showcase women business leaders who embody our country’s diverse, innovative and progressive business ecosystem. Seeing beyond boundaries, they are so key to closing the persistent gender gap in Scotland’s business landscape.”
The Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards were established in 2011 to give a voice to women-owned businesses in Scotland and promote best practices and policy for women to start and grow their businesses.
Women-led businesses make up 22 per cent of small and medium enterprise businesses in Scotland.
The award was sponsored by investment firm N4 Partners. Shauna Powell, N4 Partners said: “It is key for the growth of the Scottish economy that we continue to encourage and drive investment in female led businesses.
“That is why it is so important to support organisations like Women’s Enterprise Scotland, who help build the relationships between female founders and funders.”
