PLANS have been revealed to convert a former church in a Borders village into a family home.
A planning bid has been submitted to Scottish Borders Council for the change of use of grade B-listed Hutton Church.
A submission with the application, from Coldstream-based Alison Rossi, states: “It is proposed to create living accommodation on two-levels within the existing building.
“The design seeks to preserve the character of listed building. It is proposed create living space on ground floor level with bedrooms and associated accommodation at first floor level.
“Much of the building will remain full height internally with balcony/gallery at upper level.”
