THERE will be spooky goings-on at Traquair this weekend!
The venue is putting on a host of Halloween events.
Historical Ghost Tours will take place tomorrow (Friday) and tomorrow at 7pm and 9pm.
And a Halloween Fun Day is running on Sunday from 11am-4pm.
A spokesperson said: "For an unforgettable visit to Traquair, these ghostly castle tours are an authentic spine-chilling experience.
"Expect the unexpected as you are guided through the house and inhabitants from the past come back to life to tell you their stories.
"Witness life in the dungeons of the Tower of London before recovering with a glass of mulled wine in Traquair’s 18th century Dining Room.
"Tours take approximately one hour and are not suitable for under 8s.
"The Halloween Family Fun Day has grown in popularity every year and there is a packed programme of entertainment, workshops, and spooky experiences.
"This year there will be magic shows with Gary James, ghostly storytelling in the woods, spooky facepainting, and a witches and wizards workshop for some natural wand making and hats.
"If you feel like getting up close to some snakes and other creepy crawlies there will a hands-on workshop. Or if you would like to have your tarot read, there will be the opportunity to book a visit to the tarot card reader throughout the day.
"In the courtyard you can take part in some traditional sticky Halloween games, dook for apples, or collect a spooky scavenger hunt and explore the grounds.
"Come dressed up and take part in our Halloween fancy dress competitions – with great prizes. For all ages."
