A 36-YEAR-OLD man from the Glasgow area was caught with more than a kilo of cocaine after police stopped a car in Galashiels.
Officers found Alan Skedzielewski in possession of the class A drug when they swooped on the vehicle in the town's Melrose Road in September 2021.
Selkirk Sheriff Court heard the drugs were valued at more than £54,000.
Skedzielewski, who gave an address in Milton of Campsie, admitted being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
Sentence has been deferred for background reports until November 25.
But Sheriff Peter Paterson warned him custody is "the most likely outcome".
