A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has died at a Borders secondary school.
Emergency service teams rushed to Jedburgh Grammar Campus just before 3pm on Tuesday (November 5).
Police Scotland said the death is not believed to be suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.55pm on Tuesday, November 5, we were called to a school in the Jedburgh area following concern for a 15-year-old girl.
“Police and ambulance attended, however she was pronounced dead a short time later.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Planned school events, including parents’ evenings this week, have been suspended.
Support is also being offered to the school community.
