An exhibition will celebrate a century of Guiding in West Linton.
The event will take place in the Village Centre on Saturday, November 16, from 10am to 4pm.
It marks the 1924 inception of the West Linton Brownie Pack, Peeblesshire's first, which was soon followed by the formation of a Guide Company.
The exhibition will showcase the 100-year journey of Guiding in West Linton, featuring memorabilia such as uniforms, handbooks, and photographs.
Personal accounts from past participants will offer insights into the organisation's activities, including its wartime experiences, royal encounters, and various camping and pack holiday events.
Activities for the original Brownies and Guides included making nature diaries, country dancing, basketry, and fundraising fancy dress dances.
Camping excursions were planned quickly, with the Guide group camping in East Lothian less than a year after the company's establishment.
The exhibition will also highlight the present-day Guiding programme, reflecting the continuity of the organisation.
Current Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and Rangers have also contributed to the exhibition.
In addition to the nostalgic displays, a pop-up s'mores café will provide a treat for visitors.
