THE A72 has closed between Innerleithen and Walkerburn after a lorry ‘left the road’, according to officials.
The route was shut in both directions following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said that emergency services were in attendance and advised motorists to avoid the area.
A Borders Buses spokesperson said the crash would impact its X62 service.
A spokesperson said: “The A72 is currently closed between Walkerburn and Innerleithen.
“The X62 will be subject to cancellations and delays until it reopens.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
