A MAN has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a lorry in the Borders.
The incident took place on the A72 shortly after 3pm on Wednesday (November 6).
Motorists were asked to avoid the area after a lorry reportedly left the road, which authorities closed in both directions.
It has since reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.15pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, police received a report of a crash involving a lorry on the A72 at Innerleithen.
“One man was taken to hospital and the road has reopened. Enquiries are ongoing."
