A Borders charity has announced the return of its Christmas Tree of Light campaign.
NHS Borders charity The Difference runs the scheme, which allows people to dedicate a virtual decoration to a loved one for a small fee.
The money raised helps improve the care of patients in the Borders, as well as supporting NHS staff.
Donators will be able to post a personal message and photograph on the virtual interactive Christmas tree.
Those who make a donation will also receive a handcrafted decoration from the Galashiels crafting group Crafty Dafties, while stocks last.
The decorations can be hung on a personal Christmas tree in memory of lost loved ones, or passed on as a gift to those being thanked or celebrated.
The physical Tree of Light will also be at the Borders General Hospital (BGH), with a ceremony scheduled for December 3 at 6.30pm.
The big switch-on will take place outside the Chaplaincy Centre at the BGH, followed by Christmas carols and refreshments.
The Difference said: "This year we are asking you to share the love this Christmas with your friends and family, near and far.
"Everyone is welcome to share their love by making a dedication on our Tree of Light either in celebration or in memory of someone special, to welcome a new life or to thank a person or group who has made a difference."
