A 43-YEAR-OLD man who admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at a property in Galashiels has been remanded in custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
James Nugent, who gave an address in Glasgow, pleaded guilty to acting in an aggressive manner towards a woman, shouting and attempting to enter a house in the town on July 17.
The court was told that Nugent was already in custody in connection with another matter.
Sheriff Peter Paterson deferred sentence until November 18 for the production of background reports and remanded Nugent in custody.
