TWO people have been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on a major road.
The incident took place on the A7 north of Langholm and involved a lorry, a van and a car, according to Police Scotland.
A 57-year-old man was taken to Borders General Hospital while a 48-year-old man went to Cumberland Infirmary.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said it closed the road to allow an investigation to take place.
Traffic Scotland said it had reopened at around 5pm.
The spokesperson said: "Around 12.30pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, we were called to a report of a crash, involving a car, a van and a lorry, on the A7, north of Langholm.
"Emergency services attended and one man, aged 48, was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary. A 57-year-old man was taken Borders General Hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
