BORDERS rugby star Patrick Harrison is in line for his first Scotland start.
The 22-year-old, of West Linton, has been named in Gregor Townsend's team for the match at Murrayfield against Portugal on Saturday (November 16).
He earned his first senior Scotland call-up for the Americas Tour earlier this year.
The Borderer made his international debut off the bench against Chile in Santiago in July and then scored his first try a week later against Uruguay.
Harrison, a former Peebles High School pupil, was congratulated by the town's rugby club, who described it as a "significant milestone".
A spokesperson added that it was a "proud moment for his family and all us at Peebles Rugby Club".
Darcy Graham returns after recovering from sustaining a concussion against Fiji earlier this month.
He scored four tries in that game.
Fellow Borderer Rory Sutherland is among the replacements for Saturday's match.
