A BORDERS café is calling on local people to help spread the word about its initiative to feed those in need.
Coffee End, in Hawick, wants to reach more people who could benefit from its 'Pass It On' scheme.
The initiative allows customers to pre-purchase meals and drinks for those who may not be able to afford them.
Karolina, a spokesperson for the café, said: "This programme has been a source of hope and support for many individuals and families in our community, but we are struggling to reach those who might benefit from this offer further."
The café, which is open every day from 9am to 4pm, is asking people to help ensure those needing assistance know they are welcome to enjoy a meal or drink at the establishment without any financial burden.
Karolina added: "Together, we can foster a spirit of kindness and community support that uplifts those who are facing tough times."
For more information about the initiative, people can get in touch with the café directly through their Facebook page.
