A FORMER village hall in Peeblesshire is in the frame to become a home sweet home.

A planning application has been submitted to Scottish Borders Council for the change of use of Netherurd Memorial Hall at Blyth Bridge.

The bid submitted by Jack Adamson is to convert the property into two houses.

Back in 2021 the hall committee concluded that permanent closure of the community facility, which was constructed in 1926, was necessary.
