A GALASHIELS man was involved in a bust-up with a woman he was banned by a court order from having any contact with.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jonathan Barnes has been involved in a relationship with the woman on and off for the past 10 years.
But there was a bail order in place not to be in contact with her.
However, in September they were at his home and they had a fall-out with an argument developing and police were contacted.
Barnes pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to charges of threatening or abusive behaviour and breaching a bail order.
He was fined £300 with a £20 victim surcharge.
