MIDFIELDER Stuart Harkness scored Gala Hotspur's Players Player of the Year title at the club's annual presentation night in Niki's Bar, Galashiels.
The 26-year-old was chosen following a fine season in the Border Amateur League Division C side's title-winning team.
Goalkeeper Glen Murray picked up Young Player of the Season, while Scott Nightingale was named top scorer with 33 goals, despite leaving for Gala Fairydean half way through the season.
And a special award was made to coach Jimmy Dunbar who was recognised for his services to football in Galashiels.
Fellow coach Fred Blackie told the Border Telegraph: "It has been a great season and a huge thanks go to Niki's Bar for their continued support."
