SELKIRK’S football stars of the future were honoured at Yarrow Park over the weekend.
The club’s youth section held its annual tournament and presentation evening.
This year’s winners were Under 13s Players’ Player - Frazer Cullen, Under 13s Most Improved Player - Archie Penman, and Under 13s Coaches’ Player - Dylan Dickie.
The Under 14s Fair Play Award - Chris Miller, Under 14s Most Improved Player - Caleb Gibb, Under 14s Players’ Player - Shane Millar, and Under 14s Coaches’ Player - Clark Young.
The Under 17s Coaches’ Players of the Year went to Kieran Wilson.
During the afternoon players from all three age sections were split into two teams for a one-hour match.
Following the four-all draw it the Barcelona boys who won on penalties.
A spokesman for Selkirk Youths FC said: “We would like to thank all of the players and coaches and hope to see everyone back here in August fort he start of the new season.”
