SELKIRK manager Ian Fergus has now signed ten of his current squad for next season.

On Saturday Gregor Amos and Murray Christie both signed a season-long extension to their Yarrow Park contracts.

The manager told us: “I am delighted that both Gregor and Murray have agreed to stay until the summer of 2018.

“They have both bought into what we are trying to achieve here and it is a real boost for taking the club forward.”

Fergus admits he will still need to strengthen in the summer.

He added: “I will be looking to bring in a further five or six players to strengthen and build on the squad we already have.

“We have a talented group of players here and with the right additions we can do well next season.”
