IT may not have been a season to remember down at Netherdale.
But there were still celebrations last month as the class of 67 enjoyed a reminisce about the glory days.
A reunion of the Border League winning side from 50 years ago took place within the clubrooms.
The Maroons won nine of their 11 matches to lift the trophy for the first time since 1921.
The top scorer during the full 1966/67 season of 28 games was Peter Townsend, father of about-to-be Scotland head coach Gregor, with 94 points.
