THE Borders U17s netball squad travelled to Strathclyde Sports Centre on Saturday to compete in day one of the national Under 17 Performance League.
The girls won both of their matches for an impressive start to the campaign.
They defeated Inverclyde 68-41 before going on to beat Shetland 60-22.
Shona Brett lead Borders coach said: "These were incredible performances by the girls, who are a real joy to work with."
The Borders Under 17s squad is Imogen Lewis, Eleanor Smith, Abbie Sorrell (captain), Jess Mitchell (vice), Lucy Smith, Hannah McLean-Foremen, Ruby Finn, Nairne Wells and Arabella Brett.
