The students go into the game on the back of a 9-0 home defeat to East Kilbride on Saturday.
They are currently bottom of the league with one point from five matches although that was in a 2-2 victory away to Linlithgow Rose.
Speaking after Saturday’s victory Gala boss Martin Scott said: “I thought we played well although we possibly could have done better in possession but overall I was happy with the performance.

“Our first goal was typical of Jamie (Semple) who is now using his qualities in the final third and is starting to kick on. And at the back Ciaran (Greene) who has become our main centre back due to injuries had another brilliant performance alongside Callum Ferguson who showed a maturity beyond his years.
“Stirling still have four or five players from last year and are a decent outfit so it was a good win.”
Gala face Highland League side Strathspey Thistle at Netherdale in the first round of the Scottish Cup on the weekend of 23/24 September.
