GALA Fairydean Rovers and Albion Rovers shared the points after a hard-fought 90-minutes at Netherdale last night.
Gala, who were without a number of first team regulars dominated the first half but the visitors had the better of the second half and could have won it in the last minute.

But in the end the draw was probably a fair result.
Jamie Semple was unlucky not to open the scoring in the opening minutes but his long range effort was tipped round the post
Nicky Reid then tried his luck from long range but his effort went well wide. Danny Galbraith then did likewise.

Quinn Mitchell did well to beat his marker on the edge of the area but his effort was well saved.
Gala’s best chance of the first-half came when Jamie Semple got on the end of a Galbraith cross but his powerful header was brilliantly saved by
Shortly after the restart Jamie Semple went close with a looping header.
But the visitors began to create chances and looked dangerous particularly from set pieces when their tactic was to obstruct Jay Cantley.
Niyah Joseph almost gave Albion the lead in the 70th minute with a powerful strike which Cantley tipped past the post.
Then in a bizarre moment an Albion Rovers substitute was booked for passing the ball back to Cantley before it had gone out of play.
Both teams then had penalty claims denied and in time added on Joseph’s long range effort clipped the top of the bar.
